The lowdown on each member of the BBC’s Formula 1 team from Suzi Perry and Eddie Jordan to F1 ace David Coulthard and Lee McKenzie
Formula One's coverage is shared between SKY and the BBC and with BBC One set to broadcast its first full Grand Prix of the season from China on Sunday, April 14, here we look at the team who will be entertaining you with facts, interviews with drivers, banter and laughs. The Chinese Grand Prix is the perfect stage for the BBC to kick off its Formula One coverage in style.

Suzi Perry
Very adventurous, 42-year-old Suzi Perry spent a year as a model in Japan followed by 13 years presenting coverage of MotoGP on the BBC. Her transition to the helm of Formula One makes her one of the most influential women in motorsport.

Ben Edwards
His radio style is enthusiastic, energetic and has been compared to that of Murray Walker. Having voiced coverage of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and Superleague Formula, he has worked for Eurosport, ESPN, ITV and F1 Digital+. And while many ladies choose to keep a distance from men and their cars, his wife Belinda loves motorsport too.

Lee McKenzie
The 35-year-old Scottish motorsport journalist has been a pit lane reporter for the BBC since 2009. Her passionate style and searching questions are to be respected and when Jake Humphrey was unable to present coverage, she stepped in to the top spot comfortably.

Eddie Jordan
The former owner of Formula One constructor Jordan Grand Prix, he recently celebrated his 65th birthday and has been the lead analyst for F1 coverage on the BBC for several years. His entertaining style, quirky shirts, sterling sense of humour and deep knowledge of the sport add colour to the coverage.

Gary Anderson
He designed the Jordan 198, a Formula One car driven by Damon Hill to give Jordon Grand Prix its first victory and 1996 Formula One World Champion – son of Graham Hill – his last. Gary Anderson also designed the SF3 for Stewart Grand Prix, helping Johnny Herbert drive to victory at the 1999 Belgian Grand Prix. He is now a pundit for the BBC, providing technical analysis of the car designs and add-ons that teams place on their cars throughout the season.

David Coulthard
Now a pundit for the BBC’s coverage of Formula One, he was for years Britain’s only real hope of winning races in Formula One. Within just a few races at Williams, he found his first podiums. This was soon followed by a win and a drive at McLaren, where he brought his total number of Formula One wins to 13.
He helped Red Bull Racing in its infancy and after he retired in 2008, the team had created a race-winning car. If he had stayed one more year, he would have been in with a chance of battling Jenson Button for the Formula One World Championship.
Watching David Coulthard share his verdict on the drivers and the races is enjoyable.

Jennie Gow
Radio 5 Live’s pit lane reporter previously worked on MotoGP coverage and brings a soothing voice to the air. She recently spoke of how she was ‘sweating buckets’ in the humidity of Malaysia while also being a big Tweeter.

James Allen
Having worked in the sport since 1990, he was a former commentator for ITV, before making the journey to the BBC. He now presents coverage for BBC radio 5 Live. He’s such a dedicated motorsport fan, that he even named his two sons Enzo (after the Ferrari) and Emerson (after the Formula One and IndyCar champion Emerson Fittipaldi.
