Jenson Button: I like the challenge and will stay with McLaren until I retire
McLaren's Jenson Button is to stay with the team until he retires. The 33-year-old is confident he can win the 2013 Formula One Driver's World Championship behind the wheel of the powerful new McLaren MP4-28.

Even Red Bull's Christian Horner thinks his men will struggle to hold on to the crown this year, with Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari all making a strong comeback. "If the car suits his requirements there is no reason why not," the 39-year-old from Leamington Spa explained to The Guardian. "He is certainly a driver we do not underestimate."
With Michael Schumacher gone, Jenson Button is now the most experienced driver on the grid. As the awkwardly antisocial turmoil relationship with Lewis Hamilton has come to an end, Jenson Button is happier than ever – being given Number One status at the Woking-based team.

"I'm really loving my job at the moment and I feel that whatever is thrown at me I should be able to control it." If that statement proves to translate into results, Jenson Button could prove to be a handful for Lewis Hamilton this season – with his gentle tyre-managing driving style.
After winning at the final race in Brazil last season, the three-times winner of the Australian Grand Prix (2009, 2010 and 2012) is hoping to match Michael Schumacher's record tally of four wins down under this coming weekend.

"I was pretty happy at the end of last season. A few things didn't work out for me, but in terms of driving and what I achieved, I was very, very happy. I ended the season on a high and really couldn't wait to get back out this year.
"When you win a grand prix you want the next one to come round straight away. So this whole winter I've been very positive. Obviously there are changes in the team. I like change. I think we all like change. It makes it exciting, a new challenge."
The 2009 World Champion added: "I feel very at home. I feel like I'd like to end my career here. I'm not saying that's going to happen soon. I don't see me leaving. There's no reason to. Some people decide to leave this team because they feel there's another challenge, or something's missing from their position. For me, there is still so much to achieve.
"We had the launch, 50 years of McLaren, and to see what the team had achieved in terms of world championships, drivers and constructors is spectacular – and I want to add to that, not just this year, but in the coming years."
