Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo EDC prices revealed
Renault has confirmed prices of its new Renaultsport Clio 200 Turbo, a sporty hatchback with mean looks.With the five-door version costing £18,995 and a ''Lux'' edition priced at £19,995, the new Clio features an impressive turbocharged engine and a six-speed paddle-shift transmission.
At just £100 more than the manual three-door Peugeot GTi, and £1,000 less than the lower-powered, DSG-equipped five-door Volkswagen Polo GTI, it can jump from a stationery position to 62mph in 6.7 seconds.
Its sporty looks are not limited to its exterior styling. Inside, we find ourselves immersed in a modern-looking car with mounted gearshift paddles.
But while it may look nice to some, it it expensive and the interior looks somewhat tacky, particularly the central console which is an eyesore and does not blend in well with the rest of the interior.
The seats look uncomfortably firm and with 200bhp, it will not be cheap to run, especially if drivers use its fun 'Race Mode' function.
