Citroen reveals never-before-seen 'technospace' concept for MPVs coming this Autumn
COMPACT MPVs are a tough segment for manufacturers to crack - meeting the demanding needs of modern families. But Citroen - who make the Xsara Picasso, C4 Picasso, Grand C4 Picasso and C3 Picasso - have now revealed their 'Cr-ative Technologie' concept, which points to the French brand's future compact MPV to be released in the second half of 2013.
'It's a strong, expressive design with dynamic lines and high-tech headlamps complemented by 3D-effect tail lights' - Citoren has high hopes for their new MPV.With C02 emissions from the car at a 'record' low of 98g/km, British families could collectively save millions of pounds every year by avoiding road tax. The low emissions are surprising for an MPV, but Citoren say it is thanks to their new-generation modular platform the 'Efficient Modular Platform 2' (EMP2), which features well-built architecture and minimises weight: 70kg to be precise, or the equivalent of Lewis Hamilton with a well-groomed cat.

The manufacturer, famous for creating World Rally Championship winning cars and leading Sebastian Loeb to nine consecutive titles, has incorporated multiple technologies for 'enhanced comfort', which includes a full-touch driving interface with a high-definition 12 inch panoramic screen.

The compact MPV concept will measure only 4.43m from front to back, with a width of 1.83m and a height of 1.61m accompanied by 537 litres of boot space.
